Andy Wang's Twitter

September 15, 2015.

So what image is Andy Wang trying to present through his Twitter feed.

Andy presents a steady diet of pictures of people he has encountered on the campaign trail.  In my opinion, the use of minors in these photos is very inappropriate - especially from a Conservative candidate whose party is so focused on keeping us safe.

I found no substance at all to any of Andy's tweets.  This is Conservative branding that Andy has learned very well - image with no substance and stick to the script.

I did find broad statements such as "Nepean residents agree with our low tax plan for jobs."  Well Andy, I'm a Nepean resident and I certainly don't agree.  Harper's plan has resulted in a net job loss since his accent to PM.  In addition, many former public servants live in Nepean and lost their jobs because of Harper's cuts to the public service.  All public service unions support an "Anything But Conservative" voting strategy.

Harper's plan has resulted in Canada having the worst economic performance of any G7 country.  Just saying "I'm a great economic manager" doesn't make it true.

Quite frankly, Andy's Twitter presence mimics his former boss, Pierre Poilievre.  Pierre also used a steady stream of "look at me" pictures with no substance at all.  Of course, that was just like his responses to questions in the house.  Whatever the question just mention low taxes and hard working Canadians.

As a resident to Nepean (moved her before young Andy was born), I don't want a copy of Poilievre representing me on Parliament Hill.

For those who are so inclined, here's a great Frank article on Andy:

That Wang Thang
